Graphics... BEHOLD!

To all my fello artists, drawers, painters. Here's some of my personal work using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and some 3D graphics as well. This is just some work I have done just to express my imagination, that and expand my skills so I'm not limited to just one thing. The purpose of this page is simply to show that I know my way around graphics and how to make sure the files are web ready.

Light Focus

This is a class project where we, the class, were given a platform and we had to manipulate light. Make it bounce off of a surface, or surfaces, we could change the brightness, the color, the hue, the shadow, the contrast, all of it. I really enjoyed it and I aim to do similar work in the future, but of course, with my own backgrounds.

13'-14' Fire Calendar

This was a class final project, put a calender together from scratch doing anything you want, no limits. Make sure federal holidays are marked, you can mark anything else you want. Make it stand out, if you use other pictures alter them to make them your own. Make a theme and go with it.

Army&Navy

I am very proud of this one. Someone approached me about cleaning up this old article. Make it look like new instead of 50+ years old. Using burn, dodge, and then adjusting the color saturation and Viola a fresh print.

Paradox

BRILLIANT!!! Anyone remember those Guiness commercials with the two two-dimensional scientists? They were cast in black and white and one of them always said 'Brilliant' after almost every single statement the other scientist said. If not, you should look it up, but anyway. I had one of those, I am a musician and when I was younger I wanted to be in a band -READ MY BIO FOR MORE- anyway, I woke up one day and this design just came to me and I loved it. Purely simple to do and looks awesome, at least that's what I was told by those that saw it.

Album Cover

Music inspired again. While I was in college I found out some of the other professors played instruments and one of them would hold jam sessions just for musicians on campus to get together, jam out, have fun. I wanted to go with a hard rock theme, but with a classic and rustic touch. I kept the color theme simple and contrasting so the text could be read and everything else would just blend in around it. Very happy with this, maybe I'll actually make it one day. Who knows?

Church Edition

This was a project brought before my class. We were to split into teams and basically remake a Church Newsletter, thus it contained Biblical proverbs and phrases, some people and some of their information and a few other things. I was in-charge of designing the cover and coming up with a color scheme for the rest of the group to follow. For my part I was really proud of the front section of the cover, giving it warm and bright color tones, along with earth tones to go along with a blue sky and grassland background. At the time my teammates liked the cover, however during the presentation I agreed with some of the feedback regarding the back cover being too dark. Lesson learned. So while my team's book was good, it didn't quite make the cut for it to be used.

Space-Oddity

This was a project that came to me done. I was listening to the song that's now cut and embedded in this file and as I was listening to it I closed my eyes and felt like I was traveling through space, just watching stars pass by me. It was then that this project began. This project took me two weeks to put together. The first week was spent just constructing all the objects, lights, shadows, effects, cameras, editing and embedding it into the video which was constructed within the same software. That and working out all the bugs as best as I knew how. The second week was actually just spent rendering the entire project. I had to break it down into sections and then I went to a video editing program and put it all back together. I really enjoyed this project alot, I really want to do more work like this and can't wait to start doing this kind of stuff in my sleep. That is one of my goals.
